About the assessment
The Akuna Capital sequence practice on this page presents 24 numerical-sequence questions in 16 minutes. The sequences range from straightforward patterns to more abstract relationships, so the main challenge is recognising the right family of transformations quickly enough to keep moving.
EverythingQuant splits preparation into an Easy mode, a Fibonacci/Prime mode and an Abstract mode before the full test. Use those targeted modes to learn how different sequence structures behave, but make sure you return to the mixed 24-question format: the real pacing problem is deciding which hypothesis to test first when the pattern is not obvious.
EverythingQuant is an independent preparation platform. This practice tool is not an official Akuna Capital assessment and does not guarantee an interview outcome.
What you are training
Spot differences, ratios and recurring transformations before trying increasingly complex rules.
Recognise common number families quickly enough that they become clues rather than distractions.
Handle alternating and multi-stage patterns when a single arithmetic operation does not explain the sequence.
Validate a candidate rule against the whole sequence and discard it quickly if it fails.
How to prepare
Use Easy Mode until standard arithmetic sequences are fast and dependable.
Use the Fibonacci/Prime mode to make recognisable number structures immediate.
Use Abstract Mode to practise sequences that require multiple interacting transformations.
Return to the 24-question mode to practise recognising which family you are looking at without a label.
Keep preparing
See Akuna-specific assessment and interview resources in one preparation path.
Continue from sequence practice into firm-specific quantitative interview problems.
Train the other major Akuna numerical skill represented in EverythingQuant's OA library.
FAQ
The full mode on this page contains 24 numerical-sequence questions to answer in 16 minutes, with patterns ranging in difficulty and abstractness.
Build speed on simple arithmetic patterns first, then prime/Fibonacci structures, alternating rules and more abstract multi-step relationships.
Use each mode to isolate a specific weakness, but finish with mixed full-test attempts so you still practise recognising the sequence family without being told what it is.
