About Optiver Beat the Odds
Beat the Odds is a probability-focused assessment built around making correct quantitative decisions quickly. The practice mode on this page presents 10 difficult probability questions with 90 seconds available for each answer, so there is enough time to reason but not enough time for an unfocused derivation.
Preparation should therefore combine probability knowledge with fast model selection: identify the random experiment, define the event or payoff that matters, and choose the shortest correct route to the answer. EverythingQuant's randomised practice is intended to build that repeatable reasoning rather than memorisation of a fixed question set.
